To some, it’s even considered Thailand’s second capital with a population of less than a million. It’s quite the relaxed city with a unique atmosphere. The landscapes are pretty remarkable and the culture is one of a kind. Chiang Mai became a new hot spot and it’s easy to find modern cafe’s, Western food but without losing its routes. Spend your days visiting Buddist temples, visit exotic animals that live in sanctuaries or simply relax and enjoy a massage. So much to do here, you’ll end up wishing you could stay longer. Getting from Chiang May to cities like Bangkok,Koh Chang or Kohn Kaen can easily be done with our V.I.P buses and private vans. <br/></p>

Chiang Mai

The good points: an interesting journey if you want to see the river as well as the changing landscape. Reasonably comfortable seats. Pick up from the hotel was organised. 
The less good points: my e ticket from yortdoy travel was not accepted as payment so I paid again on the boat.
