When you think about Thailand, visiting Phuket comes almost first to mind. With more than one quarter of a million people living here, it’s safe to say that it’s a very large island, in fact, it’s the largest island in all of Thailand. It’s a very popular destination among travelers because it’s considered an affordable place to go. There are many things to love about Phuket, the pristine beaches, clear water and cheap eats. The weather is pretty much comfortable all year around, running between 21- 31 Celsius. However there are some months with heavy rain known as monsoon season and than can happen between May to October. Trust me when I say, you won’t be bored here, you can take cooking classes, see wild animals up close or even get yourself pampered with massages. When you’re ready to go to the next island,luckily this well connected place can get you pretty much anywhere. Catch a bus or ferry to places like Koh Phi Phi, Krabi or Bangkok, and so much more!

When you think of Bangkok, you’ll probably envision a loud, fast paced and colorful city, and that’s exactly what is it. Funny enough, some travelers like to skip out on Bangkok and head straight to the Islands, but they are missing out on a great deal of amazing things to see in Bangkok. You can find pretty much anything in Bangkok, from Ancient temples to modern shopping malls. The Grand Palace is one of those places that is a must see and you can easily spend hours there. Wat Pho, also known as “The Reclining Buddha” is considered one of the oldest temples in Bangkok, it’s something not to miss out on. From zoo’s to food markets and parks to museums, the list is endless. Bangkok is the gateway to other cities and Islands, you can easily get to other places like Pattaya, Koh Pangan or Hui hin to name a few.
