Halong Bay has been known for decades as a travelers dream spot receiving  roughly 6 million visitors a year. This place has more than a whopping 1,600 islands, possibly more and it’s located 144km  from Hanoi. You simply won’t find that many tourists or be caught in traffic and long lines. Get lost in the nature, see beautiful temples and take boat rides through caves and rice fields.
