Talgo Train – Tickets und Online-Buchungen

I bought and paid for two sleeper train tickets and upon arrival nothing available. The local agent had been in contact via What App but two hours out from the trip he disappeared. Still in the process of getting the $200+ USD transaction refunded.

When buying a ticket in Egypt then they tell you to contact an agent to meet and get the phisical ticket. This Man did not arrive on time and i missed the train!!! As you see

The train ride itself was very pleasant. I booked through Bookaway and a requirement to board the train was a mandatory hard copy which was finally delivered to my hotel @ 9pm. My train was from Cairo to Alexandria @ 8am so I needed to wake very early. Of course, I had to receive the tickets in person so there was no chance to go to bed until the tickets were delivered. On top of that come to find out the value of the tickets were $40 each and Bookaway charged me 133€. I will never do business with them again!!

A very comfortable train, modern and clean. It departed on time, and it was good to be able to see the train's progress and actual speed on an overhead screen. Lunch was served at our seats (extra payment) by a very friendly train steward. A buffet is available for buying tea and coffee etc. An enjoyable trip. Despite what the train ticket says, it is also possible to board this train at Alexandria's central station, Misra - leaving platform one at 2. 00pm. Next stop is Siddi Gaber, a few minutes later.

The staff was incredibly helpful, i was in constant contact with Mr. Muhammed who helped ensure I was at the train in time and was extremely diligent. Thank you for the amazing experience.

this is my first time to use bookaway, but it is awful, I did not get the ticket, and I cancelled the booking, I did not get the refund, I will not use your website again!
