Reaching Banaue can take a staggering 9 hours, but we’ve never met one person who said it wasn't worth it. It’s known to the UNESCO World Heritage as Ifugao rice terraces of Northern Luzon. Tourists will enjoy the breaktaking views, whether its on an adventurous trek or simply the morning view as they sip their coffee, either way you will not be disappointed by the scenery. Another wonder that will blow you away is Tappiya Falls , it will take you about an hour to reach it on foot but is worth it. Overall, Banaue is a small town that’s full of charm. After you’ve got the trekking part out of your system, you can enjoy local attractions like the market and taking a ride on a tricycle. Getting to and from Banaue is long, but easy, you can grab a super deluxe bus to Manila that runs daily.
