The drivers were amazing and very helpful. They even printed our immigration forms when we showed without them ( we didn't know we need them). Felt safe during the trip and it was comfortable enough. You are travelling in a minivan though with bot much leg space so not great if you're tall. We left at 6am and arrives at Panajachel at 10:30pm which was a lot later than what was advertised - 3pm. We waited for the second mini bus to pick us up for 2 hours and a half at the Guatemalan border. Apparently there was roads closed because of rebels which meant the drivers had to take longer routes. However I'd recommend for the travel company to adjust the expected arrival time - there's a huge difference between 3pm and 10:30pm. Also highly recommended booking somewhere to sleep in Panajachel as the last boats to the other villages are around 6 or 7. Some of our companions had booked to sleep in another village and had to figure out somewhere else to sleep at 10:30pm. Pack a lunch, dinner and snacks if you are vegan, there are stops for food along the way but no options for vegans (only oreos, crisps and nuts).

Incredibly well organized: left on time at Flores in a comfortable van. excellent and safe driver, assisted all 4 passengers while we crossed the Guatemalan and Mexican border, waiting to make sure we boarde the van on the Mexican side, which took us to Palenque. Left at 8 AM and arrived in Palenque at 4 pm (about 3.5 hours each leg of the trip). I recommend it without doubts.

Victor was very friendly and helpful. I definitely appreciate him making my arrival in Guatemala so pleasant.

I thought that overall it was good- they didn’t really leave on time at both ends of the trips but it was because of roadworks, long immigration queues between the countries and the loading and unloading of luggage. Beautiful, kind people though, caring and warm and they really did their best to make me/us feel welcome
