Good treatment throughout the journey
The ride was excellent, people friendly and helpful, they were cleaning now and then, thank you
The train was very clean. The Attendants were very fiendly and accomodating!
Very nice
Booking through BookaWay was easy and the link was sent in a short time. Like many bookings in Kenya, it seemed more complicated than needed. Not sure why we could not just be sent an eticket as for a flight.
Luckily there was a helpful person at the Premium Counter who sorted everything out and the whole experience went smoothly.
There was quite a queue at the machines for the other tickets and a huge queue at Mombasa for those on the return train. Do turn up early, the locals rush through at the last minute but not so easy for first timers.
The seats were very comfortable like Business Class on a plane but oddly those on the left face the window and those on the right are in the same direction so face away from the window.
Helpful and pleasant staff.
Mombasa station was well organised but taxis and buses outside were chaotic
Can definitely recommend
A very nice way to treat yourself to more. A very luxurious and comfortable journey. Time flew by. Experiencing a safari from the train window was a great experience. I saw a lot of elephants, zebras, buffalo, giraffes and many different and special birds. The only thing that is allowed with this ticket here is lunch and it was not offered. I arrived in Mombasa hungry.
