it takes 22 hours from Hanoi to Vientiane. Everything was fine and comfortable. I was slept most of the time. wifi didn't work after border with Laos , so if you have options to buy simcard on border area - it's better.

A real ordeal. From Hanoi to Vientiane 36 hours of travel in an uncomfortable bus, where it was impossible to lie down. Suitcases in the corridors, no water, almost no stops to go to the toilet. Bus in very bad condition, we had a flat tire the second night. A bus never to be taken!

The bus it self was good. The service on the other hand was horrific. They screamed and yelled at us like animals. At the border we had to go out of the bus 1 hour before the passport control even opened. You have to pay to go over the border and it’s very hard to find where to go. They also played very loud music and we had to force them to put the volume down. Don’t recommend any solo travelers to do this!

A VIP cabin as described. When redeeming the tickets, the clerk didn't check the reference or anything. She just proceeded to write out two tickets and we nearly ended up on a non-cabin bus so be careful. She had wrote the same cabin number for two of us, considering the amount you pay for this, I think you should absolutely have your own cabin as the ticket price at the desk is 800k.

Nice bus, much more comfort than past experience however the border crossing was very stressful at early hours and took 3hours for our group! Take at least 10k + 50k KIP per person for exit/entry stamp passport processing or you may find yourselves in a stuck situation!

The bus was good... I thought I was using it alone... but it's inconvenient for two people to use it.
